Bookings Terms of Service

ALL ONLINE ORDERS ARE SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION OF AVAILABILITY.

Final Payment is due 14 Business days before Hire/date needed.

Deposits are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to change these changes will be sent to you in writing before they become effective. Wedfest Australia assumes no responsibility for your failure to read and accept these changes.

  1. A minimum non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your date. This is transferred to a credit for another date in the event that a force majeure occurs, Cancelling the event. (Including Covid-19 related restrictions)

1A. Should your event be cancelled the week of for any reason including Covid-19 your payment can be used as a credit for the next event. In some circumstances we may refund however this is decided on a case by case basis pending how much preparation and money has been outplayed to be ready for your event.

  1. Any damaged or stolen property from Wedfest Australia will be invoiced to the named client at their REPLACEMENT COST. Being charged replacement costs does not mean you have purchased the damaged item and it remains the property of Wedfest Australia.
  2. All items must be stored undercover and safe overnight – NO EXCEPTIONS – nothing is to be left out the night before the event or after and a fee of $500 will be charged to your nominated card if this happens regardless of any damage
  3. Wedfest Australia often sources items from a third party supplier, these may incur costs, and replacement costs if damaged, lost or stolen will be passed onto you. We engage third party suppliers based on their reputation and their quality, but we do not accept responsibility for any failings incurred by them
  4. You are entirely responsible for the Hire Items the entire duration of your event – any damage due to unforeseen weather changes are your responsibility – including ‘Acts of God’. If you leave responsibility of the items with a person other than yourself you are to make them aware of our Terms and Conditions and they are to accept them – including venues and function co-ordinators
  5. Payments made to Wedfest Australia are not transferable to other Persons
  6. The balance must be paid in full prior to the event date, failure to do so will incur a fee of 5% of any remaining balance, a further fee of 5% of the remaining balance will be applied every 7-day period thereafter or no work will be completed
  7. Payments can be made to Wedfest Australia through the following means; cash, bank deposit, bank cheque or Credit Card. All payments accepted via Credit Card are liable to incur additional fees and charges of 2.5%. Money orders and bank cheques should be made payable to ‘Teagan L Boyle’ as stipulated on your invoice
  8. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all monies are paid promptly and correctly
  9. A Public holiday surcharge of 15% applies to all labour services, which fall within 2 days either side of your event. PLEASE NOTE: Public holidays before and after your event date will also attract a surcharge
  10. All labour or products provided outside of scope outlined in initial package or service will incur additional cost quoted prior to those services being completed/products purchased. Payment will then be required as per new invoice, and any overdue amounts will be treated as in clause 7
  11. Should Wedfest Australia make any purchases on your behalf (for example flowers) the payment will be made on your behalf to the third party with additional invoice payable by client. Any overdue amounts will be treated as in clause 7
  12. Where applicable delivery of your items will be confirmed the week prior to your event. Whilst we will make every effort to deliver at the time you would prefer delivery, sometimes an alternative time will need to be scheduled. We accept no responsibility for keeping delivery times or pickup times
  13. The named client will be held liable for all costs of repair or replacement, in the event that any person present at the event damages any equipment provided or supplied by Wedfest Australia at a function or while hired
  14. We do not take responsibility for any property that may be left at the venue overnight. It is recommended to allocate someone to collect all valuables (drinks, presents, music equipment etc) and to make sure all hire items are put inside the venue and kept safe and secure
  15. We take no responsibility for any of the guests or our staffs actions resulting in damage to a venue i.e. lawns being destroyed etc
  16. Safe clean and suitable. Wedfest Australia reserve the right to refuse working in an environment that is not suitable
  17. You understand that Wedfest Australia services are provided ‘as-is’ and on a ‘best effort’ basis. We take no responsibility for the success of your wedding in its entirety or any part there of
  18. We are not responsible for any change in climate or weather which may influence or change wedding plans. We reserve the right to use our judgment and make decisions based on experience and professionalism in regards to how the weather will affect wedding proceedings
  19. While we select our preferred suppliers with care, Wedfest Australia cannot be held liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which you may suffer as a result of your decision to enter any dealings or transactions with, or supply personal information to, a preferred supplier or any third party. Please ensure you are aware of whom you are contracting with and the relevant terms and conditions prior to entering into any contract even if arranged on your behalf by Wedfest Australia
  20. Wedfest Australia cannot be held liable in the unlikely event of any third party supplies or suppliers not arriving or supplying their products and/or service/s arranged by Wedfest Australia on the client’s behalf which are not part of
  21. As we do not offer insurance to you, we strongly suggest that you arrange your own insurance for both your wedding/celebration and associated travel arrangements
  22. If at anytime the client, family and or friends of the client shows disrespect or threatening behavior to any of the Team Members of Wedfest Australia we reserve the right to cancel all agreements and withhold any money paid and not be present on the event date
  23. Photos taken of the Design, Setup or Hire Items must not be used for financial gain without the written consent of Wedfest Australia prior to the event
  24. Suitable and appropriate wet weather cover for all hire items must be proven before items will be released/delivered/left at the event
  25. All outside events must have enough cover in close proximity (no more than 10meters) from where the hire items are displayed in case of bad weather. The shelter must have room for all hire items and guests
  26. An increase in guest numbers above 10% will incur additional fees
  27. Pets and animals are not permitted on any furniture
  28. Images taken by Wedfest Australia of your event or yourself may be used for advertising and marketing on social media, website and in print
  29. All non permanent structures such as Tipis and or Marquees must be installed by a reputable third party
  30. If your venue requires a Midnight pack down or an irregular pack down day and time that was unknown or unforeseen during the quoting process additional fees will be applied
  31. While we aim to achieve your vision and exceed your expectations all designs must be completed with Wedfest Australia brand and reputation in mind
  32. Any major changes in your requirements may require Wedfest Australia to requote and additional charges may be applied and incurred
  33. We enjoy using real flame candles and tealights in our designs – we do not accept any responsibilty for any instances that result in property being set alight or damaged or guests being injured as a result of interefering with the flames
